This Firebird has been stored and cared for its entire life. The exterior displays amazing original Coronado Gold paint throughout. Does anyone else think "Jim Rockford" when they look at this car!? This is one of, if not the best original 1970 & (1/2) Firebird Formula 400s left in existence. There were 48,739 Pontiac Firebird's built in 1970, of which 7,708 were Formula 400s.

The center console is in beautiful condition. Note the shifter and power windows.

The instruments, dash, carpeting, and upholstery are in excellent preserved condition throughout. This Firebird features the Sandlewood Tan interior with Vinyl Comfortweave interior.
The upholstery is in excellent condition front to back.
Factory seatbelts are intact along with the original shoulder belts.
The V.I.N markings are clearly in place.

The engine compartment displays the original 400 c.i. engine along with beautifully detailed original components throughout. Many of the chalk markings are still legible and clear. This car has withstood the test of time thanks to proper care throughout the years. The 26,505 miles are original to the car.

Closer inspection of the original Coronado Gold paint will confirm a beautifully preserved finish throughout with only very minor imperfections. We have not observed any paint touch-ups small or otherwise.

The body panels and brightwork are in excellent condition. Not the fit and finish of the doors and lower rockers. This car is in excellent condition, with no rust.

The optional Cordova top is original and in excellent condition as well.

This Firebird Formula rides on its correct Pontiac wheels wrapped in Goodyear Polyglas F70-14 tires.

The woodgrain trim is in excellent condition.
The original door panels and door undersides are in excellent condition as well.

The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the original spare tire/wheel, jacking equipment, mat, and trunk finish. This is a corrosion free, survivor example.

The undercarriage shows as new. The original flooring displays red oxide primer throughout. The exhaust system, rear end, frame, transmission, and engine underside show very well. The suspension is also in excellent condition, with factory markings present. Everything about this Firebird 400 is indicitive of the low original mileage.
