Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this rare Final Edition Hunter Green 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Considered by many to be the best SUV ever built, the Grand Wagoneer enjoys appreciating values and is a joy to own and drive. This example is very well cared for and is in excellent condition. They only built 150 of these in Hunter Green for the final Grand Wagoneer production year of 1991.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer enjoyed an unprecedented run of 29 model years (1963 to 1991) without any body panel changes. Hunter Green would be the most rare and desirable color of these last year models. The last Grand Wagoneer ever produced was completed on June 21st, 1991 and in Hunter Green. This is one of the 150 built in this rare hue. Only 1560 total Grand Wagoneers were produced in 1991. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos of this classic Grand Wagoneer. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The Grand Wagoneer (SJ Body) enjoys a cult following with appeal to a wide arrange of buyers. Today these Jeeps also boast increasing values every year. Get one while you can. This particular example is the rarest, a Final Edition finished in the hard to find Hunter Green.

The exterior showcases a quality professional repaint of the original Hunter Green base/clearcoat. The original factory paint had a clearcoat defect. The paint shows exceptionally well throughout. The faux wood paneling is also in excellent condition. The emblems and bright work are clean and detailed throughout. The drip rail chromed trim was just replaced throughout the roof line. The wheels of choice are the original turbine alloys with gold trim. The tires are 235/75R15 whitewall radials all around. The spare tire/wheel is also in place. The interior features the original upholstery front to back. Both the driver and passenger seats are power-operated. These are well-equipped 4x4 Jeeps! The steering column is a tilt unit while the original stereo is also intact and sounds excellent. The factory Jensen speakers are crisp and in good condition.

Again, the seating shows exceptionally well. The floor mats are the factory carpeted JEEP mats. The 4-wheel-drive system works as it should. The back seat is in excellent condition, seldom if ever, used. The power sunroof seals up well and is fully functional as are the power seats. The door undersides are in excellent condition. This is a dry climate Grand Wagoneer and it shows. The door panels are clean and detailed. The carpeting is also in good condition.  The power rear lift gate window is fully functional.

The 360 V8 runs out strong and the transmission shifts as it should. AMC's 360 V8 replaced the 6 cylinder as the Grand Wagoneers standard power plant beginning in 1987 and carrying through the last model year, 1991. The air conditioning blows cold. Further inspection of the engine compartment will showcase original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. The breather assembly is intact, including the cold air ducting. The undercarriage is in very good condition. The original flooring and exhaust system is intact.  There is a small hole in the gas tank cover which the seller has asked us to repair. The spare tire/wheel is in place. Again, the chromed drip rail trim was just replaced throughout the roof line. The luggage rack is in excellent condition.
