Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this classic Italian convertible, the Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2.0. This example is very well cared for and it shows. This is a beautiful car and is in excellent mechanical condition. The Alfa has been a California car until 2012. It has a clean car fax showing no accidents and actual miles. The exterior showcases the light blue metallic paint and is in great shape throughout. This is a dry climate Alfa Romeo and it shows. The Spider displays the classic Italian styling throughout.
The interior is in excellent condition. The soft top has a new back window installed just 2 years ago. The upholstery is clean and detailed as is the dash, however there is a crack in the dash shown in the photos. The factory gauges are intact and functional with exception of the clock, not working. Notice the Nardi steering wheel and shift knob. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts through the gears with authority. The Blaupunkt CD stereo sounds excellent.
The Spider has also been treated to a complete service at Euro Automotive here in Dallas in the past few months, and new front and brake pads were installed as well as new motor mounts. A total of over $6000. has been spent on her in the last 2 years. The wheels of choice are the factory 5-star alloys, clean and in great shape all around. We also have the spare alloy/tire tucked away in the spare compartment.
Under the hood is the strong running factory Bosch fuel-injected 4-cylinder engine rated at 115 horsepower. This overhead cam powerplant runs smooth and has excellent power. The engine compartment is clean and detailed throughout. Also in 2012, the car had over $1600. worth of work done. The clutch was replaced, the rear main seal, output shaft seal, oil pan seal were all replaed. There was a new brake booster and master cylinder installed. We have receipts for all work performed as well as a great deal of suspension work that was performed.
The undercarriage is a further testament to the excellent condition of this particular Spider Veloce. This car retains its original flooring throughout. The front and rear suspension is in very good condition as is the exhaust system. The trunk is clean and detailed, with the factory spare tire/wheel intact under the carpeted pad. The front and rear spoilers show well.
