The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight is the location for many of our photos of this classic 1981 Jeep CJ-7. Be sure to visit the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom is located only minutes away. This Jeep is a good solid driver with some tasteful modifications. It rides on 33" BFG Mud Terrain radials all around. The shocks are Pro-Comps. The custom black powder-coated steel bumpers are by Genuine Steel. Full Doors and rolling windows are retained. The roll bars have been padded throughout. The wheels are black powder-coated as well. The black paint is a repaint and a driver-quality job.

The flooring/tub has been rhino-lined front to back. The bucket seating features a Bestop cover as does the rear bench seat. The custom 3-spoke wheel is atop the tilt steering column. The dash retains its original functional gauges along with an updated Pioneer CD Stereo, oil pressure, and voltage gauge. The dash pad is in good condition as is the dash itself. This Jeep certainly has the stance. This Jeep will go anywhere. The engine and transmission work well and the Jeep drives down the road good. The fuel-injected inline-6 runs smooth and is stock with exception of a cold air tube & conical filter. This power plant is paired with the 4-speed manual floor shift transmission, also easy to shift and grips well through all the gears.

This Jeep starts right up. The air conditioning is not intact. There are no lines on the compressor. Some work will need to be done to have functional air conditioning. The tire tread is very good front to back. The hood is easy to open and close. It latches correctly and is aided by the classic tie downs. The back side also has a matching rear mounted spare wheel/tire on the custom tubular steel bumper. You can see the paint and body is not perfect. There are some waves and dings, however this is NOT a rusty Jeep by any means. This is a good solid Jeep and it is reflected in its condition. The undercarriage is good and solid. Much suspension work has been done. Pro Comp shocks were installed. Some polyurethane bushings have also been installed. The frame, suspension, and flooring looks to be in good condition throughout.
