Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this classic 1975 Fiat 1800 Spider convertible. The Fiat 124 2+2 Sport Spider convertible made its debut at the Turin auto show in November, 1966. This model was in production from 1966 until 1980. The cars design and manufacture was by Italian carrozzeria, Pininfarina. This is a mechanically and cosmetically good example in driver condition.  We would like to thank the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight for their unique location used at many of our photo shoots. Be sure to visit this historical museum if you find yourself in the Dallas, Texas area. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom is located only minutes away.

The little stout twin carbureted 1.6 litre engine runs strong with good power, paired with the 5-speed manual transmission. The engine compartment is solid and original throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. The exterior finish is driver quality, showing some age and minor imperfections, overall presentable throughout as-is. The rocker panels are solid left to right. Here is a bad spot on the paint, shown above. The tan convertible top is in good condition. The rear plastic window shows some fade, but not too bad.

The interior is nice and tight, showing clean upholstery front to back. The Fiat 124 Sport Spider seats 4 (2+2). The dash features original wood and factory Veglia Borletti instrumentation.  The 5-speed manual transmission shifts well and the engine has good power. This is a fun car to drive. Stopping duties are handled via the factory 4-wheel-disc braking system.  The door undersides are solid left and right. The factory wheels are wearing 185/70R13 radials front to back. The original identification plates and decals are in place and legible.

The undercarriage is shown above. The flooring and frame rails appear solid front to back. The exhaust system has surface rust front to back but is intact. The exhaust system also has a header pipe & catalytic converter along with chromed twin tips. The shocks have been previously replaced.
