Fly Low or Fly High, many of our photos were taken at the historic Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The exterior finish presents well throughout. The paint and body are in exceptional condition. The blue Firebird graphic was ordered on this car at a cost of $42.90 according to the PHS documents.
The 455 4bbl. V8 is number's matching to this car, factory rated at 255 horsepower. The engine compartment displays the original sheetmetal through the firewall, inner fenders, and core support. The original trim identification plate is in place as well. The engine runs smooth & strong, paired with the factory 3-speed automatic transmission. Be sure to play our video. The 455 engine option would disappear altogether by 1976.
Radial Tuned Suspension, courtesy of Pontiac. The interior is in excellent condition. The bucket seating is paired with the factory-optioned center console. The machine-turned dash and sport-oriented instrumentation were standard Trans Am features, known as the Rally Gauge cluster. The speedometer is a 160mph unit, paired with factory tachometer & clock. The steering wheel is the original 3-spoke. Although this car was originally ordered with an AM/FM Delco radio, it now has a delete plate, much cooler.
The sloping Endura front end made for the most aerodynamic Firebird Trans Am to date in 1974. The wheels of choice are the factory 15-inch Rally II wheels wrapped in Toyo 225/70R15 radials all around. We love the spoiler's on this generation Trans Am. This car's spoilers and fender flares are in excellent condition. Its simply a very nice car. The undercarriage displays the original flooring and framework throughout. The exhaust was recently replaced with a complete manifold-back stock system with a high-flow X cross-over.
The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the spare tire & wheel. Enjoy our remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
