1973 would be the last year of this iconic body style of the Ford Mustang. This quality example features very nice paint, body, interior, and mechanicals.
The exterior displays a quality repaint of its original Medium Bright Yellow. Black accents have been added along with the classic black-out hood and spoiler that fit this car perfectly. The interior has been professionally converted from Ginger to Black. Recent maintenance was performed at Mid-Cities Mustang in Dallas, Texas. This includes a complete check-up. The shocks were replaced. The A/C O-rings, sight rings, and dryer hose assembly was replaced. The power steering gear box and hoses were replaced. The wiper motor was replaced. The FMX transmission was rebuilt as well.
The 1973 Mustang features this unique grain-vinyl black insert on the rear tail light panel.
The front parking lights were vertical in the 1973 Mustang grille. The black-out hood and front spoiler fit this classic Mustang perfectly.
Under the hood is the optional "H" code 351 2V Cleveland V8. This power plant is paired with the FMX automatic transmission. The transmission was recently rebuilt, shocks replaced and air conditioning serviced. Factory extras include air conditioning, power steering, and power front disc brakes. The power steering gear box & hoses were also recently replaced. The engine compartment is clean and detailed throughout, showcasing factory components along with the original core support, firewall, and inner fenders.
1973 would be the last Mustang Convertible for a number of years.
The black power top works well and is great shape.
The interior features classic comfortweave black vinyl seating along with the factory dash and instruments. An aftermarket Mustang cassette stereo has been installed.
The upholstery is in exceptional condition throughout as are the door panels.
The door undersides are solid.
The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the factory mat and spare tire/wheel.
The undercarriage showcases exceptionally flooring throughout. The flooring and bracing is in EXCELLENT condition. These cars are prone to rust. This is a very Mustang.
Custom polished 14-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 205/70R14 Dunlop Radial Qualifier G/T raised white letter tires for that classic stance.
