Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this beautiful classic Chevrolet C-10. This '71 Chevy displays beautifully inside, out, and under the hood. We are happy to have it here.
As always, we want to thank the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum for letting us take photos there. They are located only a few miles from our showroom. We enjoy driving our classic cars & trucks there for photos.
The exterior showcases a lot of time and attention to detail spent on this truck. The Dark Cherry base/clearcoat is color-sanded, polished, waxed, and sealed. This finish is detailed to show. The trim was also removed and restored throughout. The chromed grille assembly is beautiful as are the front and rear bumpers.
The engine compartment is like a jewelry box. The inner fenders, hood underside, and firewall are polished and detailed to match the exterior. This truck was extensively taken apart during its restoration work. The engine itself was rebuilt less than 200 miles ago by NTX Speed & Machine in Farmer's Branch, Texas.
The air conditioning system features a polished billet compressor & stainless braided lines. You can see the inner fenderwell is protected from the A/C lines. This really is a beautiful engine compartment. Cooling duties are handled with ease thanks to a high capacity aluminum radiator and dual electric fans, necessities for the Texas heat. This is a truck that is built to drive.
The bed displays beautifully, with polished stainless strips and sealed wood. The air ride suspension tank was detailed to match the trunk. Someone got a little too low with the rear end, causing the cracks shown above in the bed's inner fenderwells. We have the facility and capability to fix these if desired by the new owner. Ask us about an in-house quote if you want this repaired, otherwise enjoy the truck as it is. Its beautiful.
The tailgate is smooth and sleek. This stance is courtesy of the custom air ride suspension coupled with 20-inch chromed rims & low-profile (275/45ZR20) radial tires. Open the doors to this tastefully done '71. The interior features bench seating with custom two-tone upholstery.
The dash displays beautifully, having been restored/upholstered. The factory gauge cluster showcases excellent brightwork along with the factory gauges. There are a little over 500 miles on the restoration, with the engine work done only a couple hundred miles ago. Behind the suede-wrapped billet steering wheel is a polished tilt steering column.
The door panels are custom made as is the pearl white cab, all tastefully done. The center console is custom made and fitted with an Alpine IVA-W205 head unit CD/DVD Stereo. The undercarriage displays the original frame along with the 12-bolt rear end and upgraded air bag suspension. Further inspection will show good solid components throughout. Some panels were replaced underneath, floor work & cab inner rockers, and this was professionally done.
