Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe. This car was restored in its correct Dover White finish and retains its factory 307. This powerplant is a far cry from the original rated 200 horsepower. This engine features induction and exhaust modifications and makes excellent power & torque. The interior has been upgraded with deluxe Houndstooth front to back along with a factory center console & gauge package. The wheels are 17-inch torque-thrust style rims with 245/40R17 radials all around. This Camaro also wears SS badging and Hockey Stripes. This car is an absolute blast to drive and show.
The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the fitting location for many of our photos of this classic '69 Camaro. Be sure to visit the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. The exterior showcases a restoration in its factory Dover White color. This car has an excellent stance and curb appeal. Factors include custom 17-inch rims, front & rear spoilers, cowl induction hood, blackout taillight panel, and SS badging. The paint and body are in great shape. The doors, trunk, and hood open and close correctly.
The interior has been upgraded with beautiful Houndstooth deluxe interior with factory center console. The wheels of choice are these custom torque-thrust style polished wheels fitted with 245/40R17 radials all around. Black hockey stripes & SS badging have been added along with the SS-specific black-out tail light panel. Under the hood is the warmed-up factory 307 cubic inch V8. This powerplant's stamping is T0111DD, built January 11th while this Camaro was built the 3rd week of January. The partial VIN stamping is also clear and legible, confirming this is the original engine to this Camaro.
Upgrades include carburetion, the aluminum intake, mild performance cam, and full upgraded exhaust consisting of Hooker full-length ceramic-coated headers & true duals. The engine has been dressed in ball milled billet valve covers & a matching breather. Engine accessories are few, power steering is it. The firewall, inner fenders, and core support sheetmetal is in great shape. The original trim identification plate is also intact and legible on this Van Nuys, California built Dover White '69 Camaro. Further inspection of the interior confirm clean and detailed correct Houndstooth upholstery front to back along with the OEM center console.
The dash is in great shape and the gauges are functional. The door panels are clean and detailed. The door undersides are solid. An aftermarket Sony AM/FM CD Stereo has been installed. The trunk is clean and finished in its correct gray finish, paired with a reproduction trunk mat, spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment. The undercarriage displays further evidence of the well cared for and dry climate condition of this Camaro. Look closely through these underside photographs. The 10-bolt differential is stout and in great shape as is the engine and transmission. The suspension shows well as does the subframe and flooring. The custom X-pipe exhaust system features stainless piping & a polished muffler.
