This is your opportunity to own a beautiful and rare Golden Anniversary Mopar. This California car is finished in its correct light blue with blue blue interior. It is powered by a built 440 c.i. V8 with bolt-on max wedge stage III intake and ram horn exhaust. This special Mopar is built for street duty and never raced.

The Dodge Polara was introduced as Dodge's top full-sized automobile in 1960. The '62 to '64 model Polara's showcased a new smaller sculpted body. Going with this new and exciting look was the sporty Dodge Polara 500, available in convertible form as well as two & four-door hardtop versions. The '63 and '64 models received additional minor revisions.

This example showcases an exceptionally solid original body with an older finish in the original light blue finish. The original bright work is very unique and intact throughout this rare Mopar.

Under the hood is American Muscle in the form of this built 440 c.i. V8 topped with a vintage Max Wedge stage III intake & dual carburetors. This powerplant is badged as the 415 horsepower Ramcharger 426 V8. The engine was built by E.T. Automotive in Dallas, Texas. Exhaust gases are expelled through Ram Horn exhaust. This car sounds and runs excellent. Cooling duties have also been upgraded with a large capacity aluminum radiator by Griffin. Engine accessories include air conditioning and power steering. 4-Wheel Disc Brakes provide the stopping power.

The interior features quality blue vinyl along with the original trim and equipment throughout. This Polara has also been upgraded with a vintage air conditioning system and 4-wheel disc brakes.

The upholstery is clean and detailed throughout throughout the bucket seating and rear seat.

The dash displays the original instruments and AM radio. The factory console houses the optional tachometer.

The door panels are clean and detailed. The door undersides are solid. Note the power window controls.

Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm clean and detailed components along with the original inner fenderwells, core support and firewall sheetmetal. The original fender tag is also in place.

Many of our photos of this beautiful Polara 500 were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

The trunk and trunk pan is clean and detailed.

The 1964 model year brought unique features for both the front end and rear end of the upscale Polara 500 model.
