The 1955 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe Deville was built on a 129-inch wheelbase. This example rides on 15-inch wire wheels wrapped in 225/75R15 wide whitewall radial tires. It has been finished in brilliant red with a white top and is powered by the optional 270 horsepower dual carburetor V8. This is your opportunity to own a beautiful classic Cadillac Coupe Deville. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
The chrome bumpers were re-done in the late 1990s.

The exterior paint shows well as does the bright work through this Cadillac. Minor imperfections are present on closer inspection. It rides on beautiful wide white radials.
The '55 Coupe Deville received this gold script lettering on each side.

Harley Earl styling at its best is on display in the 1955 Cadillac.

The 270 horsepower Eldorado engine was available in all Cadillacís for 1955. An extra $161.00 would get you this "Power Package." These dual Carter carburetors and nifty bat-wing air cleaner added 20 horsepower. The engine compartment is clean and in good condition throughout. Notice the air conditioning system features a modern compressor and was added at a later date. This engine was last rebuilt in the late 1990s. We have paperwork for various parts and work performed at this time. It runs well today and is paired with the 3-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission.

According to the trim tag, this Cadillac was originally finished in Pacific Coral & Alabaster Gray, quite an attractive combination. The red & white paint certainly shows well today.
The white interior shows very well. The dash is padded as are the door panels to match. The original instruments are in place along with an aftermarket Blaupunkt CD stereo against the factory bright work. The headliner has been redone and the bows were painted. There is some pitting present as well, altogether very presentable.

The power seat is working and fitted with seat belts. The power windows and vacuum wipers are also working.

The undercarriage is in exceptionally solid condition throughout.

The trunk has been carpeted and is fitted with a jack and spare tire/wheel.

Cadillac reported 140,777 units produced in total for 1955, a new record high for the Cadillac division.

Florentine curved glass accentuates the timeless lines of this beautiful car.

The factory steering wheel is in good condition.

The door panels have been restored and the window switches are working.

The door undersides are solid.

The windshield washers will need attention to function again.
The twin carburetors were rebuilt in the late 1990s along with the engine.

The lights, signals, and brake lights are working. The horn is also working, it uses an auxiliary button hidden under the dash.
