Many of our photos of this classic 54 Studebaker Champion Deluxe were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas. We hope you enjoy our presentation of this Studebaker. The exterior presents well. The body is straight and the paint finish is a good driver quality condition. The bright work shows well front to back and is intact along with the factory emblems. Some of the chrome has pitted and could use re-chroming. The factory wheels/hubcaps wear updated radial tires all around.
Open the doors to 1954. This car showcases correct interior front to back along with the factory gauges, dash, steering wheel, etc. The original identification plate is also in place and legible. This car is a pleasure to drive. It is reliable mechanically. To the sellers knowledge the engine has not been rebuilt, but well maintained. The engine compartment displays the factory flat L-Head six that runs like a top. The sheetmetal also shows well throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. This little power plant is complete with the external oil filter and is paired with the 3-speed manual overdrive transmission. The generator charging system is still in place as well. The trunk appears solid throughout and is complete with the spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment. Under the mat, the sheet metal looks solid.
