Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this show quality 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Series 1/2 shortbed pickup truck. This truck is powered by its torque-rich rebuilt 235 cubic inch inline-6 paired with the 3-speed column-shift manual transmission. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' classic service facility just installed a new low profile air conditioning setup along with a low-profile custom audiosound AM/FM stereo. The paint and body show well as does the interior, restored throughout. This beautiful 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Series Thriftmaster Pickup Truck was photographed primarily at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum along with our location. Be sure and visit the historic Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.

The chrome was removed and re-chromed throughout. The brightwork shows very well throughout this truck.  The glass and seals have been replaced. The paint is in very good condition throughout. This is an all-steel truck, including the cab, fenders, hood, and running boards. Open the doors to 1954 and today. This interior features updated two-tone vinyl bench seating along with the factory dash- restored along with restored factory gauges. A custom audiosound brand AM/FM low-profile stereo system has been professionally installed along with updated Classic Auto Air air conditioning. The door panels and headliner are restored to match.

A vintage style turn signal assembly was added as well. This custom audiosound AMFM stereo setup was mounted discreetly under the dash, along with the low profile air conditioning setup. Under the hood is the previously rebuilt Thriftmaster 235 cube six, a torque-rich powerplant that motivates this truck down the road with ease. You can see the air conditioning setup underhood. This A/C works well with the engine. The factory breather assembly is retained. A 12-volt alternator has been installed. The firewall, inner fenders and core support show well throughout. The engine bay is beautifully detailed throughout.

The bed has been restored with fresh polished wood and painted strips to match. The inner and out bed steel and paint is in beautiful condition. The undercarriage is also in excellent condition, displaying rebuilt suspension front to back and a clean and detailed frame. The engine and transmission undersides also show well.
