This classic Five-Window showcases a frame-off restoration completed in 2004. It has had recent cosmetic and mechanical updates. This a great old truck ready to show and enjoy. The chrome work is excellent throughout this truck. The paint is a custom burnt orange base/clear coat metallic that really looks good. The paint and body are in great shape, with only a few minor chips and nicks. The interior was recently updated with ultra-leather upholstery.
The dash displays the classic original instruments. The steering column has a working turn-signal box attached. The 3-speed manual transmission shifts through the gears as it should. This is a truck that is geared for highway cruising. The cab shows exceptionally well inside, and out. The doors and door panels are clean and detailed. The door undersides are in excellent condition.
Under the hood is the 235 cubic inch inline-6 cylinder engine. The firewall is is excellent condition. The sheet metal shows well throughout the firewall, inner fenders and core support. An updated horn has been installed along with a new electric wiper motor. The heater was recently re-wired. Also, the engine is freshly tuned, with the tappets adjusted. This is a smooth running engine. Be sure to play our video of this truck in action.
The undercarriage shows the extent of the restoration. This truck hasn't been driven much since the completion of its frame-off restoration. The wood bed and stainless strips are in very good condition. The inner bed steel, tailgate and front of the bed shows very well.
