Stereo The high quality
OZE body is finished in DuPont Hot Hues Champagne &
Burgundy. The finish is show quality. This is one
serious street rod. The killer
stance is thanks to the Air Ride Technology & Billet
Specialties Wheels. 17x7s in front & 18x10 in back.
These polished wheels are wrapped in B.F. Goodrich
Radial T/A rubber sized at 215/45ZR17s up front &
255/55R18s in back. The rear end features a Ford
9-inch & 4-link suspension in conjunction with the
air bags. Open the doors
to a high quality custom street rod. The sculpted
suicide doors feature power operated dead bolts as
well as polished billet hardware. The interior
showcases the classic wrap-around dash to
perfection. This Coupe features beautiful leather
upholstery and fine craftsmanship throughout. The
custom center console features special fabricated
cup holders and an armrest along with the Alpine
stereo head unit, billet air conditioning controls
and indicator lighting. The headliner features a
beautiful sculpted design as well. The lighted
instruments are by Classic Instruments. This vintage
series includes the 120mph speedometer, voltage,
fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The
carpeting is Mercedes. The seatbelts are color
matched. Much time and effort went into the creation
of this interior. The backlighting
shows off the gauges and gear indicator very nicely.
The steering column is a polished Flaming River S/S
with a matching shifter. The polished Billet
Specialties wheel fits the car to perfection. The DuPont Hot
Hues finish features a hand painted pinstripe to
separate the Champagne and Burgundy. The Ford crest
can also be seen on each side if you look closely,
near the windows. The trunk lid is
powered operated. The trunk itself is upholstered to
match the stylish interior, complete with polished
hinges. The air
suspension tanks and wiring is hidden behind the
seating arrangement. Many polished
and chromed components went into this gleaming
engine. The engine
compartment displays the show quality 350 c.i.
Chevrolet smallblock V8. This engine is built to
ZZ430 specs. This built 4-bolt Corvette short block
is topped with World Products 2:02/1:60 valve
cylinder heads Exhaust gases are expelled through a
full custom exhaust system consisting of Sanderson
HP 1000 coated headers through alum-coated 2 1/2
inch custom muffled dual pipes. This street rod
sounds excellent. Here is the
engine and suspension components minus the front end
(above). The block was painted to match the chassis
and body. An Edelbrock
Endura-coated manifold and Edelbrock carburetor
provide the induction. Tall Street & Performance
chromed valve covers are paired with a matching
finned triangular breather. A serpentine belt system
drives the accessories, i.e. power steering and air
conditioning. The firewall is beautifully detailed
as is the hood underside. The hinges are polished.
This is a beautiful engine compartment. Cooling
duties are taken care of by an OZE radiator and
electric fan. From top to
bottom, this OZE Five-Window-Coupe is all about
quality. The undercarriage further showcases the
build quality of this fine '37. The OZE chassis has
been finished in Dupont Hot Hues Burgundy. The front
end features TCI components along with air ride
suspension. Wilwood 12-inch disc brakes are brough
to a halt with polished dual piston calipers. This
4-wheel disc brake system by Wilwood is paired with
an Emergency brake. The rear end consists of a built
posi-traction Ford 9" with 3.50:1 gearing. The Dupont Hot
Hues base/clearcoat finish is in excellent
condition. This is your
opportunity to own a very special Five-Window-Coupe.
The Billet Specialties wheels fit this car
perfectly. Check out the following photo of the
restoration work in progress. This is a labor
of love right here. The polished
stainless steel grille assembly is by OZE and the
custom headlights are BMW / Mini Cooper. The hood
assembly is by OZE as well. Billet
Specialties wheels are sized at 18x10 out back and
17x7 in front, both wrapped in B.F. Goodrich G-Force
high performance radials. From design to
execution, this street rod leaves no doubt to the
thought and execution involved in this build. The Air Ride
system is easily adjustable from the cockpit. Each
switch controls either the front pair of airbags or
rear. The tail lights
are classic teardrop LEDs that has been flush
mounted.
